‘Robot Chicken DC Comics Special’ Trailer Review – Premieres September 9 MIDNIGHT

Robot Chicken. Adult Swim. Who doesn’t like this? Unless you’re like extremely sensitive and don’t like anything vulgar or any dirty jokes, then you should like this. No offense if you don’t like this, I understand.

This trailer was hilarious. In almost two minutes, I was already laughing. I am really excited to see the Aquaman bits. When Superman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman are on an invisible car, then Aquaman finds out it’s not an invisible car… HAHAHA.

“Last one to the party can’t fly! You’ll be the last to the party… cause you can’t fly!”

“OH MY GOD THIS IS NOT HAPPENING AHHHHHHHHHH” Batman says while they nod to The Dark Knight Rises when Bane breaks Batman’s back.

Then at 1:15 in the background, we see on the wall “…You Aquaman”. Maybe the party is a “F*ck You Aquaman” party since everyone seems to hate him.

All Robot Chicken episodes and segments are always hilarious. I’ll definitely be watching this one when it comes on. And you should too.

‘Robot Chicken DC Comics Special’ Premieres Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Midnight On Adult Swim.

‘DC Universe Online’ Review

About

Lance here with our first MMORPG review, on the game, DC Universe Online (DCUO). Released in 2011 by Sony Online Entertainment, it is the most popular super hero MMORPG franchise and played all over the world: ranging from USA, Brazil, Egypt, Philippines, and many other countries. Originally, the game required a monthly subscription of $14.99 a month, but on November 1, 2011, the game officially went Free to Play world wide, thus earning many more players. It features 2 game modes, Player vs Player (PVP) and Player vs Environment (PVE). PVE would have you fight against AI characters, while PVP…well yeah.

Gameplay

Players take command of a super hero/heroine or villain/villainess, that will discover their destiny to becoming the next Legend.

But don’t worry, you won’t be alone, a mentor will guide you along the way, which would save you the trouble of pulling your hair out, thinking, “What the hell am I supposed to do”? The mentors available are Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman (heroes), and Lex Luthor, Joker, Circe (villains).

Along the way, you will be able to select your powers: (gadgets, sorcery, nature, fire, ice, and mental). Additional powers have also been added as DLC: Light (Green/Yellow Lantern), Electricity (Static/Black Lightning) and Earth (Toph?).

Weapons will also be required, consisting of Brawling and Martial arts, to Swords, Guns, Handblasters, and much more!

Movement Abilities will also determine your characters way of getting through the cities: flying, agility, and speed force.

Morality will determine your characters behavior type, it won’t affect your character’s powers, stats, or attack in anyway. Powerful, Serious, Flirty, Primal, and Comical will show how you portray your hero/villain from being mature, immature, aggressive, etc.

Creating/Customizing your hero is important for the looks. I’ll let you figure out this one because I don’t want to spoil the fun for you! The unique part is that every armor has a style, and say this powerful armor happens to be 1000+ power but it’s style is a tutu, well you can change the style to like Military Tech pants , while retaining the armor itself…confusing but you’ll understand once you play it.

The graphics used are Unreal Engine 3, and they recommend purchasing those super cool expensive video cards, for maximum detail. The work they put into the graphics was great overall.

My Critique

It’s the only PC game I play, though it’s not perfect, it is somewhat repetitive, but amazing, because of the fact that you can beat up on Bane, run up sky scrapers, fly around in metropolis, etc. My review would be 8.5 as of now, but I highly recommend understanding the game and have patience with it. It also helps if you buy their DLC packs for
$10, because not only does it make you feel special, but it features new powers, weapons, armor, locations, and much more. The music is fantastic, as it delivers appropriate tones for the cities, ex: Gotham is a dark crime filled city, the music is very deep. Overall, it’s a great game for gamers who love to explore and have fun competitively or recreationally.

Epilogue

And that concludes my review on DCUO, if you have any questions, feel free to comment and I will answer them as soon as I can. Until then, I hope you enjoyed my review of Sony Online Entertainment’s, DC Universe Online.
