‘Iron Man 3’ Trailer #1 Review – April 26, 2013
HECK YES! The first of the post-Avengers movies to come out! APRIL 26, 2013! The Iron Man movies were the best of the bunch with Robert Downey Jr. being the absolutely perfect Tony Stark. Iron Man 1 and 2 were great with the action and humor of Tony Stark.
So this takes place after Avengers with the incident in New York. Tony Stark has nightmares after saving the world and New York from a nuclear bomb. He’s pretty freaked out apparently. He’s scared for Pepper since  ‘a hundred people’ want to kill him’. And hey! MEMENTO! Guy Pearce is in this movie. This looks to be Iron Man with somewhat of a ‘The Dark Knight’ coating with the ‘fall of a superhero that needs to rise’. The villain looks badass too even though we know almost nothing about him. If you don’t know his name, it’s ‘Mandarin’.
As for the random Iron Man suit sneak ups on Tony Stark throughout the trailer, maybe it’s Rhodey, maybe it’s a nightmare of Tony’s, maybe somebody stole his suit, I don’t know. I’m hoping it’s just a nightmare of his. Of course, this movie does have a chance of being stupid since this trailer gives a CRAPLOAD of visuals and story away. We know two of the villains, we know Stark is doubting himself, and that he, his family, and his home and properties are being attacked and blown half way to hell. Keep you hopes up kids!
Kim Basinger Joins ‘Grudge Match’
Who isn’t excited to see Jake LaMotta and Rocky Balboa go at it in the ring together? Sure, they’re really old… but it’s still those same awesome boxers we knew from long ago. Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone.
You may have seen Ms. Kim Basinger in Charlie St. Cloud or in the upcoming ‘Third Person’ by Paul Haggis. She is going to be playing the ‘woman in the middle’ which is often seen in films with two men who have a rivalry.
The film is about two retired boxers with a rivalry who are pushed into the ring for one last fight together. Sounds like the plot of Rocky 6 but times 2 ehh?
Peter Segal is set to direct, Doug Ellin writes, and Kevin Hart is also set to be the promoter for the fight who sees good money involved.
‘Grudge Match’ is expected to begin shooting sometime in 2013.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Blu-Ray & DVD Covers Revealed Along With Boxset
We Switched Sites!

As you might have saw in our post last week, Warner Bros. Youtube channel accidentally let it slip that ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ would be on Blu-Ray and DVD on December 3, 2012. Well, now it is official with Blu-Ray and DVD covers, Limited Edition statue, and Trilogy Box Set covers revealed courtesy of Comicbookmovie.com.
See the UK DVD cover below:
So first of all, who designed this cover? Second, who approved of this cover? This is ugly. Sure Batman looks cool but look at the rest. It’s just random police cars with the bat behind Batman’s head which we can’t see well. Not to mention that Batman photo is from a different TDKR poster in which they took it from a still in ‘The Dark Knight’. It still looks cool nevertheless, but it still looks stupid. They should’ve hired some fans to do this or had a contest to use fanmade covers. Seriously, some of the stuff people make on the internet is freaking amazing.
And there is the little statue sort of thing that comes with the limited edition Blu-Ray combo pack. The broken cowl that doesn’t even match up with the way it was broken in the movie but who cares! It’s still cool!
As you can see, that is the same Batman image used on the UK DVD cover. But anyways, this poster. is starting to grow on me. I like it.
This is the Blu-Ray trilogy boxset that will be used. It’s pretty simple, but still cool nevertheless.
Here is all of the contents for the Blu-Ray tril0gy boxset. Pretty cool stuff. Am I right?
YESSSS. I am so glad that the DVD trilogy boxset has this cover. This concept was fanmade by, you guessed it, a fan. Looks like Warner Bros. came across it and decided to use it. I’ll definitely be getting this.
And there are the contents of the box set. Just like the Blu-Ray box set pretty much, just a different and better cover.
Pick up ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Blu-Ray or DVD on December 3, 2012.
