DarthMod Creator Nick “Darth Vader” Thomadis Retired today, therefore hopes of a new DarthMod for the Upcoming Total War Rome 2 have been vanquished. However, he stated that support for the current three DarthMods would continue, and that they might actually improve.
This is however, sad news, as many people love DarthMod and say it really makes the Total War games better. Many speculate that it has to do with Darth Vader not being invited to The Creative Assembly (The creators of the game) Modders summit, and that he’s upset that Creative Assembly does not give him any recognition. This is however, totally understandable, as he does not get paid for doing this, and it is for his own enjoyment. So will we see a new, non Darth Vader approved DarthMod for TW:R2, or will DarthMod be gone forever? Only one way to find out, and that’s by waiting for TW:R2.
