A small town in the Alaskan borough of Matanuska-Susitna, there is a town with a population of 876. This town is named Talkeetna, and besides the fact that it is in the middle of nowhere, it has a cat for its mayor! Now this Cat goes by the name of Stubbs.
My first act as Mayor is too have every citizen scratch my ears!
Not only is Stubbs the mayor, but he’s been mayor for 15 years. How does a town keep a cat mayor for 15 years? Well, he won by write in votes because residents didn’t like the other candidates, and they had Stubbs for a glorious 15 years! Now, don’t worry, in the city of Talkeetna, Mayor is only a honorary title, so nothing drastic happen under Mayor Stubbs 15 year of office.
This cat is possibly the best thing to happen since sliced bread! I suggest we run America under cats now. Go! Go out to your city/town/village and put your cat in the ballot for the head of your city/town/village! Do what is right for your country! Vote for the cats!
